This role is a combination of MA tasks as well as some front desk tasks.
Day shift hours with no weekends! Candidate will assist provider with patient visits - logging vitals and medications, laboratory testing, and entering orders as directed by provider.
Front receptionist duties include, but not limited to, adding insurance information, scheduling appointments, filing of medical information.

Job Knowledge:
Must be familiar with office procedures and filing of paperwork.
Familiarity with medical terminology, processes, workers' compensation, records and ethics such as confidentiality, and HIPAA.
The medical assistant must also be knowledgeable in specimen collection and infection control.
Point of care testing is also preferred.
Skills and Equipment:
Must provide excellent customer service/relations skills.
Skills and equipment used in this position include completing various forms, copying dictation, charts and various copies.
Inventory materials, supplies and requisitions stock replacement.
Computer, typing, lab equipment, copy machine and fax.
