Summary:
The HR Manager must demonstrate the ability to be a strong business partner in the organization and is responsible for Strategic planning, directing, coordinating, and execution of all human resource activities.
Analyze operations to evaluate performance of business unit and staff in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change implementing corrective action plans to solve organizational or HR departmental problems.
Ensure to follow quality standards for both Laminate Technologies and our customers.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, execute, and provide guidance on Strategic initiatives aligned with Company goals to include recommendations on HR best practices.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, effective change management, accountability, engagement, and personal accountability.
Ability to direct, coach, and execute programs and systems for succession planning, people development, performance feedback, one-on-one coaching, and performance appraisals for optimum employee engagement.
Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering policies, procedures, and processes helping to resolve work-related issues.
Administer corporate and organizational policies in compliance with Federal, State and local legislation which includes, but is not limited to; EEO, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, USERRA, WARN, Worker's Compensation, Unemployment, COBRA, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.
Advise and coach managers on organizational policy matter, such as equal employment opportunity, harassment, and recommend needed changes.
Analyze, recommend, and modify Company provided compensation/benefit programs and policies to establish competitive benefits and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Plan, promote, administer, and educate all members on Company provided benefit plans.
Perform, provide guidance, and assist organizational leaders regarding difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, mediating disputes, terminations, and administration of disciplinary procedures.
Assist in the identification of staffing vacancies and recruitment, interviewing, and selection of applicants.
Prepare personnel forecasts for projected employment needs using the Manning Board.
Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants.
Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of HR staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations.
Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion, and employee benefits.
Represent the organization in personnel related hearings and investigations.
Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.
Assist HR Staff in maintaining Time and Attendance system data and integrity, reports, and weekly timecards.
Assist with processing workers comp, customer injury, and property damage claims with managers and third party vendors to ensure forms are complete and accurate.
Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, wage/salary information, absences, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminations and ended temp assignments Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities, key performance indicators, and HR metrics.
Maintain confidentiality and secure confidential records.
Develop, conduct, and provide on-board training and assist in training and development of employees.
Promote and maintain positive employee relations in a safe and productive work environment.
Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies and notify eligible workers of position availability.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and ability to utilize HR software.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability for this position.
Bachelor degree and/or equivalent experience is required.
A minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in HR Strategic role.
A Bachelor degree or higher in Business Administration and/or Human Resources is highly desirable.
HR Certification desirable.
