Summary:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of planning, directing, coordinating work activities and resources for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications.
They are also responsible for leading the Continuous Improvement culture initiatives and driving sustainable progress in operational and performance-based metrics.
This position will have direct supervision of production workers as assigned, ensuring manufacturing activities meet all quality standards for both Laminate Technologies and our customers.

Responsible for the supervision of departmental personnel during respective shift hours.
Assure all personnel are well trained and performing efficiently in compliance with the established procedures.
Assure all personnel assume responsibility for high levels of product quality and comply with established specifications and inspections per the Quality Management System.
Assure product is produced according to planned quantities and deliveries.
Assure department maintains exemplary levels of safety and housekeeping.
Assure all equipment is well cared for and properly maintained.
Assure compliance with all regulatory requirements (i.
e.
, OSHA, EPA, and EEOC).
Participate in establishment and adherence to departmental budgets.
Promptly address issues that detract from performance standards, quality, customer service (internally and externally), safety, 5S, and the Team culture.
Confer with other manufacturing lead members to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
Maintain daily time and attendance records to control and ensure accuracy of labor hours.
Direct and coordinate performance KPI and team management systems.
Apply lean manufacturing principles, practices, and tools striving for continuous improvement.
Audit, standardize work and verify procedures are being followed to standard.
Investigate and complete root cause analysis and implement countermeasures.
Assist with the increasing level of leadership with the leads.
Other duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor.
